Take in some of the city’s top sights as you drive around the city. Drive down Ponsonby Road to where your guide points out a number of favorites among the hip area’s boutique shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. Head to the top of Mt Eden to peer at the grass-covered cone of an ancient volcano and admire panoramic views over Auckland. Pass by the Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park, and get an overview of the 185-acre (75-hectare) expanse. The grounds include formal gardens, the Wintergarden Pavilion and the excellent Auckland War Memorial Museum. Many people choose to visit the museum after the tour ends and your guide can provide drop off at the museum. Throughout your tour, your friendly guide shares informative commentary about Auckland’s food and wine, diverse cultures, and current trends for a fun and fascinating tour.

5.00This is an amazing tour and I would highly recommend it. All the food was delicious and our guide, Sarah, knew so much about food and the history of Auckland. You could tell she is very passionate about both. I was also super appreciative of Sarah and Jono going above and beyond to help me out with a sticky situation with an Airbnb. Great people and a great tour, highly recommended.

5.00Kat was such a joy to chat with and very informative. The food was delicious and unique. Millers was certainly a highlight but we enjoyed everything we tried. I would love to go on another tour because the places and the insights were just wonderful. Highly recommend!

5.00What a fabulous tour of Auckland! Thank you to Kath our guide who gave us a truly special experience. We were given a highly personalised tour. We tasted and experienced authentic NZ flavours ranging from specially roasted coffee and delicious handmade treats to Charcuterie and gourmet accompaniments. We were lucky to include a classic New Zealand pie which was rich and flavoursome too. It was an unexpected bonus. We also tried delicious Salmon and spicy cornbread bites before having a rich chocolate tasting rounded off with a digestive cocoa tea. We could not honestly fit in any more though there was still another foodie stop. We learned of the history and natural features of the area and the its cultural makeup as well as getting time to shop for some NZ lollies we had heard about. Kath made all this happen for us which was above and beyond! Thank you to this special lady and the company which we highly recommend if you have the time in Auckland.

5.00People make the experiences you enjoy, and Kath did not disappoint! She is knowledgeable about the city of Auckland and the history of New Zealand. Because she and her husband are foodies who love trying different cuisines, she not only takes you to fabulous places, to try local, but always is checking out the “new” in town. We went slightly over time because the 4 of us had so many questions and so much to share. Food, coffee, tea, wine and chocolates were all divine and diverse. We would highly recommend this tour! Thank you Kath!!
