Lexi was reliable and a very good communicator. She was flexible about our itinerary and customized it to our needs. Lexi’s car was very comfortable. Overall a wonderful tour of Kyoto.

We also got a driver who did not speak or give explanations about the sites on the way. We knew the driver wouldn’t leave the car but we expected them to be more of a guide while we were in the car, like some of the more positive reviews. Some other reviewers gave it one star, which I think is harsh, but it depends on how self sufficient your group is.

We had the pleasure of having Kaku as our driver during our few days stay in Kyoto, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. He was exceptionally professional, patient, and accommodating, ensuring that our trip ran smoothly from start to finish. We had 8 people in our group ranged in age from 8 to 80, and Kaku was incredibly considerate and attentive, especially when assisting my elderly parents getting on and off the vehicle. He went above and beyond by sharing helpful local knowledge, assisting us with booking restaurants, ordering food, and even helping us capture beautiful family photos throughout our trip. Kaku also took us to a wonderful place where our entire family could dress in traditional kimonos, creating an unforgettable experience for all of us. His calm demeanor and thoughtful service made a real difference in our Kyoto journey, and we’re so grateful for his care and support. Thank you, Kaku, for making our visit to Kyoto truly memorable!

Kyoto has many great sights and our driver-guide is very knowledgeable and his English is excellent. We did all possible during our day after starting where our cruise ship let in Kobe. We also learned a lot of history. Fuji our driver. The tour was far better than tours offered through the Oceania Cruise line.

Our tour driver, Harry, made a perfect day for four seniors. He customized the tour to meet our needs and wishes. His friendly flexibility greatly enhanced our experience in Japan. Harry’s English was better than any of the tour guides we had through the cruise excursions - much appreciated. Harry handled the logistics of the day flawlessly.
